Welding Supervisor, Sylvan Sport

Patrick joined SylvanSport in June, 2012 and is currently the Production Team Leader. He received his welding degree from AB Tech.

“I really like problem-solving and I think ultimately that’s what’s drawn me to advanced manufacturing, it’s always about how you can improve and just that constant making things better. Not working harder but working smarter, and I think that’s been the nice thing that has helped challenge me and keep me interested. I’ve tried a few other things; this is where I feel comfortable.”

“Honestly advanced manufacturing is very rewarding; you get to do stuff with your hands. If you are mechanically minded it’s a good fit and it’s a pretty secure industry because ultimately manufacturing is not going anywhere.”
